I am fluent in Spanish so may I translate a document a document, for example a divorce document from Spanish into English to submit it with my I-129 package stating / certifying that I the translation is complete and accurate or should it be from an official Translation service and or independent from myself because I am applying for the visa?

I did the same thing for my application, only it was in Mandarin. We got approved... so apparently it wasn't an issue. Good luck!!!

To clarify: I, myself, translated the Mandarin document into English with the paragraph stating that I am qualified/all is true/valid blah blah blah, and it was fine

You can do the translation yourself.

The translator must certify that s/he is competent to translate and that the translation is accurate.
The certification format should include the certifier's name, signature, address, and date of certification. A suggested format is:
Certification by Translator
I [typed name], certify that I am fluent (conversant) in the English and ________ languages, and that the above/attached document is an accurate translation of the document attached entitled ______________________________.
Signature_________________________________
Date Typed Name
Address
