Why I received checklist for IV package ?

We have reviewed the documents which you submitted in support of an application for an immigrant

visa. Please review the information listed under each applicant's name and provide any documents

which are indicated as missing or need additional information. You must submit the required

information. Failure to provide the requested information will delay your immigrant visa interview.

That's the way NVC work.

They did the same thing to me sent them the documents Nov 27 2013 and Dec 23 2013 said they don't have it despite the fact that I had the usps confirmation of delivery and they also confirmed to me that they got my documents on Dec 1. What I did was called and asked to speak to a supervisor and the matter was resolved within 3 days. I sould recommend that you call and have them look into it.

Well I called nvc . Rep said , they don't even open the package I sent. Ignore the checklist and wait.

I think its a false checklist, just ignore that. I got that one too, just make sure to call them if they got those civil docs already. Sent mine last dec 23 & call then last jan 22 & got Case complete last jan 21st . God bless

We received checklist too. First they asked about the documents. But we have already sent documents even before we received the checklist. My husband phoned in NVC. Operator answered that they did not check our letter with the documents and checklist was erroneous.

Then we received another checklist. My husband phoned in NVC again. Operator answered that they did not check our letter with the documents and checklist was erroneous again.

We phoned several times. And each time operator answered that the letter had not yet been checked. But a week ago the operator answered that our letter with the documents was checked in December (maybe it happened in early December, when we received the first checklist ... I don't know). Copies of the documents were incorrect . We sent originals of the documents two days ago.

Same sent ours on jan 1 and called them yesterday and they said that they didn't get anything from us, All the documents are the originals I am worried. ?

I was worried too cuzz all original documents I sent. But keep all the fedex or ups receipt as a proof. Lool like they don't care about it.

Jan 1? Did you include your barcoded cover sheet on it? Its should be on their system by now.

That's the way NVC work.

It could very well be a false checklist given the timeframe that you sent it to. When did you send your AOS. Generally you get a "false" checklist when one of your documents is reviewed because AOS and IV are independent of each other. Call and find out. It could very well be that your AOS was reviewed and accepted.

Yes AOS was accepted in Dec. Now just waiting for IV package to be accepted. I sent it on 26 Dec. Entered in system 6 and 7 Jan. Just waiting.
