Yep you are right, I guess it isn't a bad idea to send them an email and at least know the reason. Thanks smile.png

This is the response I got,

Consulate interviews are typically scheduled as a date becomes available. This mean that the U.S. Consulate in Frankfurt is booked until May.

BTW, I don't know if I should do my medical examination or not as far as my interview date is given in May, and the medical examination results will be just valid for 6 months only.

Oh my!! How can they all in a sudden be booked all the way up to May?!

If you look at the Immigration Timelines here on VJ the last IV is for Feb. 5th and then it jumps to May...that's unbelievable!! :(

I don't even want to know when my IV is going to be then... :'(

I don't have any idea, I guess not everyone makes a timeline here in VJ.

And guess sometimes they just reply with a kinda answer to get rid of any other incoming emails or just to give u a concrete answer so you not bother them again by asking questions, or.... Idk

congrats, today I received an email and they have rescheduled my interview for 26 March.
