hey there :)

I just send of my package 3 a couple of days ago and it was delivered today. Yeah!

I was wondering what your experiences are on how long it takes the Consulate in Frankfurt, Germany to send out package 4 and then about how much notice does package 4 give until the interview?

I know that this is different from case to case, but I am just looking to get some what of an idea. Online it says 2-4 weeks, but I feel like this not quite accurate from other posts I have been reading here.

It seems like now, being so close to the end, the waiting is the worst! Days are starting to feel like weeks! :D

thanks! :)

I was reading your timeline. They scheduled your interview 4 months from now? I was seeing it was usually 3-4 weeks or did you ask for it to take place later?

Did you send your package as registered mail ("Einschreiben")? I did and and the status is stuck since a couple of days saying "in der Zustellung" (out for delivery)... I am not sure if the consulate actually has my package yet. Did your status ever change to actually being delivered?

My fiance sent it using registered mail. He told me they received it a few days ago, but never mentioned anything about it being out for delivery, so I assume not, but I'll ask him when he's home.

No I didn't want my interview to be late and IDK why they scheduled it 4 months later... I was wondering to ask someone if it makes any deference! or is it normal bcz I have also seen that it usually takes 2 - 4 weeks or less.

I don't know if its the right thing to do, but if I was you I would definatly email them and see if they can make it sooner or at least give a reason. The longest I was seeing from them was about a month after they send packet 4.

Yep you are right, I guess it isn't a bad idea to send them an email and at least know the reason. Thanks :)
