It was mentioned in passing. Bieber is all over the news

Racism

Maybe because Justin is more famous than that dude you mentioned because I have no clue as to who he is but everybody knows Justin.

i am pleased to chime in, noting the latest report mentioned the usage of crack cocaine.

Yeesh! The Hate!! - Kid makes millions of dollars, hits puberty and self destructs from having too much freedom and power and brown nosers telling him how great he is 24/7 at too early an age. He's learning a lesson now.. Sometimes they come back down to reality and sometimes they don't. It will be interesting to see how he and Miley are when they are 35-40.

Uh, pardon, I attribute it to his handlers and their lack of handling skills.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Don't do it. Stay away from guns. Do you REALLY wanna be labeled as a black, lazy, welfare-stat, high-crime, uneducated, AND gun nut on here???? You'll soon have more labels than a certain president has lies.

But seriously, I wouldn't buy on post/base, unless you can really save some dough. I have never seen a gun cheaper on base. Plus all the rules for walking outta the store with it, registratoin on post, etc. Personally, I just never take my guns on base. Too much heartache. Had an NCO about 2 years ago who got arrested for illegal possesion on post. But his guns were registered with the MPs. They were properly cased. He had a copy of the memo in the gun cases. But... he changed his last name when he got married, and it did not match the paperwork. Spent a coupla hours in the slammer until his commander could get him out. They BOTH let the MPs have a piece of their mind, I'm sure. Another hardened crinimal put behind bars... GO MPs!!rofl.gif

I've heard when I was in FT Hood you had to keep your guns in the Armory. So I know it's a hassle. I've never had the need to get one before, but if we move to St. Louis, I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Only if you live in the barracks. Married housing on post or living off post, you keep it at home. Some who live on post choose to leave them off post with friends or family to keep from registering and hassels dealing with going on/off post.

Gun broker dot com if you want to compare prices. They will ship to a local FFL for ya. Some (local FFL dealers) overcharge, so beware. I have seen as little as $10-15 charged to take delivery, and as much as $100. I would never do business with someone who scalped for taking delivery for people.

The entire time I was there, I never even saw base housing. No one I know lived there because there was an 18-24 month waiting list to get in there at the time.

I'll take a look, the wife isn't too pleased about it, but you never know when you go there and something happens...

I agree. It's not an area you want to jaunt around, even with OUR skin color.

Oh hell no. I remember when I came home back in 2011, my cousin wanted me to come and visit him down where my grandmother used to live. I was like cool, I drop by around 1800. I remember talking to 3 different people after that, telling them I was going to visit him at 6, every single one of them was like, go earlier, you don't want to be down there after dark. I was like whatever, I used to live down there, I'm not scared. My home girl was like things have changed since you've been gone. I went at 1730, right before dark. We were talking outside by my car, right at sunset, I heard a loud popping sound. I thought, firecrackers? He said nope, gunfire, nice to see you cousin, and bolted back in the house. I left right after that.

I got pulled over once and issued a ticket on post. Took the kid 45 minutes to write me up (maybe he was using spael chack on the cruiser laptop?)

Why did I get pulled over? I was coming to a stop coming out of the shoppette, prior to turning onto the road, and waas on pure ice, couldn't stop. As I started to slide into the oncoming traffic, I let off the brake, countersteered onto the road, and avoided a collision. So I got a failure to stop. Yeah, I got it, failure to control my vehicle. But it was on pure ice, I was doing about 3-4 mph, KNOWING I was on ice, and my only recourse was what I did or hit the oncoming car.

I think I just sprang an eye muscle from the severity of the eye roll required after reading this.

It's called comparative absurdity.

It was meant to be absurd

Or just as absurd as the what seems like 100 times a week blacks cry racism over something just as absurd..Like a movie produced by a black did not win an Oscar, or Oprah is told she can't afford something, or some black kid is wrongly accused of shoplifting or all the other silly #######.

I can promise you that if the situation had been reversed, the usual suspects would be hollering.

Do I think it's racism --No!

I just think nobody knows who the other kids is.

P.S. A 19 year old kid is not equipped to deal with that kind of fame and fortune.

Hats off to Lebron James who had it thrust upon him at a very very early age, and seems to have handled it well. Maybe he has some good folks around him or he is an exceptional kid..If had millions at that age, I would be dead by now.

"blacks cry racism..."

"... a black"

Do you know what you sound like?

What's your problem with black people that you need to trot out these silly generalisations?

Think he will really learn a lesson. How many times did Paris Hilton and Lindsey L do ####### that we would still be in Jail for and walked?
