It says right there, in the copy quoted in the very first post of this thread: 'The Pentagon...' Anyone familiar with the US military knows that the Pentagon is where these policies are made.

Is that what that Big ####### building to the left heading into Washington is..I thought it was a gentleman's club with a huge running track for politicians.

It just gets weirder every day

I'm pretty familiar with it. My opinion IS qualified. I qualified it. I can send you my certification, if you request it in triplicate after the second Tuesday of next week.

Today's military leadership is more worried about politics and their jobs than about the strength and good discipline of the troops. But I imagine that is a trend that could have been seen 50 years ago, too. Not ALL change is good, unfortunately.

Honey, you obviously don't know Jack nor shite about what we call each other in the military. But nice try.

What I have an issue with is that if someone claims a "strong religious belief", they can get around military regulations and wear alternative headgear, grow long hair, wear beards, and wear tattoos that the rest of the military are not allowed to. It's just not right, but I don't expect you to have one iota of understanding.
