hello i just sent my IV package in 23-01-2014 and when i checked i saw that is already in transit the estimated time is 27-01-2014 i would like to know how long it takes to receive a letter or email from the NVC to schedule the interview and please can i do the medical examination before i have an email from NVC i mean is that is okay ? thanks for everyone i appreciate all the answers

Check your embassy information on your countries portal on VJ. Has information for you.

I would strongly not advise you get medical until you have Interview date. You could be sitting for months. And you just sent IV package which will take probably 30 days to view. You need case complete to be in the interview queue. And your country is a 2 to 4 month wait for an interview.

Most medicals require the Interview Letter to schedule a medical.

thnk u for ur answer i saw other timelines and its generally 1month 3-4 month is too much my case is processing since 2011 i can't wait any further LOL
