Sounds like you are admiring him for killing Muslims instead of admiring him for fighting terrorists.

It means that if the justice department is going to arrest and prosecute (white) people for...wait for it..."Trying to build an anti-Muslim x-ray cannon" (I hardly believe I actually typed that) then the justice department needs to arrest a (used to be but is no longer) black man for using ACTUAL drones with ACTUAL missiles to ACTUALLY kill people in foreign countries without a trial, without permission to be present in that country...and the people he kills are Muslim.

I disagree we do not live in a post racial society. Obama's race was/is not a factor in my opinion of him winning the election. Obama is a brilliant politician. He won because he ran a superior campaign. Are there people who voted for him because he is Black? Sure. Is there anything wrong with that? To me no. Our democracy is based on the freedom to vote for whoever you want for whatever reason you want, no matter what anyone else "thinks". If you want to vote for someone because you like the color shoes they wear, no matter how stupid that is, that is your right. If you want to vote for porn stars with big breasts to be your mayor, go for it.

I'm sorry the Taliban and people like them are sub human and have declared war on anyone who does not live by their warped view of Islam. They are your sworn enemy and while I am very sympathetic to the loss of innocent life, I believe strongly we have made tremendous inroads in the preservation of life. Look at past wars and military incursions, Nixon murdered thousands of innocent people in Cambodia with carpet bombings. Sure it may not sit well if our drones take out a single family just because the father or brother is a high value target but think of the innocent lives that have been saved. These people are not civilized and do not deserve a civilized trial. They are not American citizens and do not deserve to be treated with the same rights as the rest of us. They would sooner cut your head off and parade it around on a youtube video than give you a second thought about your "human rights".

Do I think there should be greater oversight and checks and balances in place when it comes to drones, of course and I believe Obama has made ground in doing that. But nah I am all for drone strikes on those people who would sooner blow me to pieces if they had the chance.....I do however confess that war is never a long term solution and we should have never put our forces there in the first place. I also believe that military force against the same people for so long will just create more generations of enemies but what are we supposed to do? If it was up to me I would pull all our forces out and let them kill each other in their tribal wars. Western intervention into other nations has never proven to work for the good of the people no matter the intentions.

Can you explain to me, in detail, how you are going to negotiate an arrest in a country that does not have a central government. Do you think that Karzai has any influence in the tribal regions of Afghanistan?
