And we got married in vegas, I soon gotta go back to Germany

and I dont really know what I have to do which visa to file for?

What's important? Need a lot of help! Thanks in advance!!

If you're in the USA right now, you can adjust your status.

But that means not going back to Germany until you have your advance parole document at the very least. If you feel you need to go back then you would need to to the CR1 route.

Congrats... what a whirlind i am sure!

Cr1 visa means, you file ten return to Germany, they take about a year

You can stay in the USA, file for adjustment of status, but you cannot leave the USA for about 90 days or so (until advanced parole or AP is issued)...

Can I technically file for a I 130 when I get back to germany? Your US citizen husband is the one who should file the i130 in the US because he is the petitioner.

Do I have to change my last name and that I got married on my ID and passport before I start the visa? Changing name is not mandatory. But if you choose to you can already use your married name on the forms then change your ID cards & passport to married name. Your passport is not needed until later on in the process so you have ample time to change it. If not, you can continue to use your maiden name, no issues there.

Oh and my husband can't g come to Germany
