Iv fee still in process. I read on a thread that they called nvc to ff up when to pay iv fee the nxt they were able to do it. She was thinking it might be a coincident but i think calling really works.

Hi guys, i really need some help. I am a bit confused? My husband is green card holder, awaiting his citizenship interview. He filed for I-130 for me, our priority date is 2nd december 2013. Our case was approved on 6th february 2014. But nothing after that? We got the the case number in march after several requests. Since then no progress in nvc steps. Im guessing my priority date should be current by july or august.. and my case is not even complete And i can see most of yoou are about to finish with the case at NVC or have completed. What should I do??

When the priority date becomes current, should we have our case completed at nvc? and is this when the interview is scheduled? please help. TIA

Don´t worry, that is my situation, you can call them (NVC), and wait to for an operator answer the phone, then you can ask about progressing of your case,

I have the same PD, but still not complete my case, so the differen is that I am waiting to complete case, today my wife called to NVC, but she could not talk, maybe tomorrow.

@ Amna-h - you have the same PD as I do and NVC only just received our case on April 29 - we have not even received our case number or IIN.......don't feel bad. There are many from December 2013 who are way behind you in the process and they are still trying to get their cases even approved at USCIS.

I am also worrying about the PD becoming current before I have case complete - but if it happens ...well, there is nothing you can do.

when you say there is no progress in the NVC steps, what do you mean? have you already submitted your packages to NVC? Can you give some details in what you have done and what your timeline is? I am guessing you are just waiting for case complete.

Thanks for the encouragement guys! I would like to share my experience.. a very SILLY ONE! actually, the whole focus shifted to my husbands citizenship, and i was so eager to have him naturalize so i could upgrade my F2A to IR1! But even that is taking so soo long Only recently i started to panic about my i-130 as the priority date is approaching. I came across this thread, and i was wondering why did I not receive anything from NVC! My pd is 12/02/2013, case was approved on 02/06/2014 and somewhere in march 2014 it was at NVC (We got to know thru the fone and they gave us our case number but nothing further). They told us we had to wait for our p.d to become current and then they would start the process. but after reading this thread i was curious. Now comes the silly mistake… i changed my email id last year somewhere around the end..and i rarely used to check it. I checked that email account and there it was..NVC WELCOME LETTER! Dated 02/25/2015
Strange thing is that my husband did not get the email and i did..so thats how we missed it!!! I feel like a fool for wasting more than 2 months
But anyway, they had given me the invoice id. I logged in the ceac. org website and filled out DS261, A0S Fee bill was already generated, paid that on 05/05/2015, and the status shows paid today. Luckily i had gathered most of my documents already. Told my husband to prepare his AOS package.. we shall be sending it out in few days

The good thing is that NVC no longer needs beneficiary's civil docs to be in original. It will be required at the time of interview. So i will be scanning everything and will email it to my husband. Only waiting for my police clearance certificate. This will be saving us time and money, and no fear of losing the documents. I feel like a jerk for my stupidity, soo do check your emails, the one you gave to the USCIS or NVC !

@sbai2000… if you have the same pd as mine then i think you should call nvc .. which is a big hassle and time waste.. but i guess you can try ur luck
