Tried to access dd261 but its asking for the invoice number? Where can i find that. And does this mean i can fill out ds 261 already

Did you not receive invoice numer together with case number from NVC ? I recived this over the phone almost a year ago.

Call NVC...I did mine mid last year... believe me it'd very hard to reach them on phone

Congratulations all of you who has completed DS-261 and paid AOS fee. My PD is Dec 2013, still I have no access to choice of agent form!
Saw some of you having priority date Dec 2013 already paid their fees. I have my case# and Invoice#, when I try to access get msg - " the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time".

Any idea why is that happening? and when I'll be able to get access?

Finally got an email regarding the ds-261 . Thank God. My sister's pd is nov.2013.

I am in your same situation, probably they are allowing some people to access little by little. I understand the pressure, but there is not urge, receiving the email / accessing the form now or in 1-2-3 weeks does not make much difference, the important thing is the PD.

Hi guys.

I don´t understand how they are working, there are other people that have received their wellcome letter, and they have PD later from me, I saw and read their post, that they have been completed 2 forms (Ds-260 and 261).

I go to acce to ceac web nothing has been chage for me.

what do you think??????

If your PD is current and your not yet done with the NVC process you wont get IL worst is when retrogression strikes (im praying not again and probably not on the coming months) then you'll have to wait for your PD to be current again. So the goal here is to finish NVC / case complete so by the time your PD is current you'll just wait for your IL. For me every development is important I have a friend that was CC one day later than my daughter and she was affected by the retrogression. My daughter is already here in the US for 9mons and they my friend is still waiting for their PD to be current again at this point.

I have a question to ask.. At the NVC step, they are asking Tax transcript from IRS. Since my wife is overseas and doesn't have SSN and tax number. I filed my taxes as a single.. Would it be a problem for them since I'm married?

I will amend these tax returns once she comes..

Hello i saw your post my husband just changed on his W2 single to married because yes It ll be a problem with NVC.

What s your PD ?

Because last year we advise him to put single because his familly leave oversea and we are way to far to be current now this year we advise him to put married ...

I don t Know much my husband follow the advises of the accountnant.

In the W-2 form there is no section for single or married. In the company you can inform your company to make your status as married. However I'm talking about something else. When you fill your tax forms to IRS every april, you need to select single/married jointly etc. When I selected married it asked for a SSN or tax ID number for spouse which she doesn't have. So I had to file single..
