hi friends, i am confused, i got married last year in 2013 in my native country. my wife's parent, sisters, brothers, my realatives , friends everyone attended the wedding except for my parents. they couldnt go to the wedding due to some financial problems, because my dad didnt have enough money to finance the whole trip of 4 people. if at the embassy asked this question that who came for wedding, and the answer would be NO. one. is this going to be some sort of an issue or ?

You had a lot of other people coming to the wedding, plus your parents (presumably?) support the union, so you should be fine.

My parents-in-law were not there for our wedding as well. It was a NOT an issue during my interview. Don't stress over it. What's important is that your marriage is genuine. luv.gif

My parents didn't attend my wedding in Jamaica because they didn't approve and my husband was asked the question of whether or not they attended at the interview and he just answered "no, they couldn't make it." It wasn't an issue at all. The CO was more impressed that I had visited my husband 14 times lol.
