Last year, I stayed in the Philippines for 5 months. This year I will be getting married there and staying for 3 months (April to July.) I will also be eligible to apply for Citizenship on the last week of July.

Will this affect my citizenship application? From what I have read, as long as I am not outside the US for 6 months then I have nothing to worry about. Does that mean 6 months per year, or 6 months total in 5 years?

Thank you.

Specific questions relate to 6 months at a single time... You must have spent more than half the time in the USA total during your time as LPR ...

^Oh okay so at a single time. I have been in the US for 5 years on Sept 28, 2014, more than 3 years continuously. So that means I'm safe right? I will be eligible to apply 90 days before Sept 28? Thank you!
