Waiting for Danno to come here and link this to gays in the military. Any time now.

When I first read this, I thought you were referring to lucky and Marvin jerkin' off each other in here. Then I realized you weren't. #missedopportunity

Never made it out there, wish I had though.

Yep, back in Sept 1993. Fort Jackson, Charlie Company 2-28, 4th Platoon. Got to meet Penny Marshal and saw Danny De Vito, missed Stacey Dash(damn). I did 6 and a half years in the Army. Got out in January 1999, joined the Navy in Sept of the same year.

Small world. My ex was in the line for the chow hall one day, and they had to wait to go in because they were shooting a scene in the chow hall. I don't think she was in the movie, but some of her "line mates" were.

I had a friend stationed at Ft. Hood around 2000-2002 and he told me they have a bit of a gang problem there. I guess some soldiers bring their gang mentality with them when they join the military. Here is an article I found online that discusses it:

I'm offended by the word circle. Reported.

It is. We were in the 0330 PT scene. They needed 40 of us to be the backdrop noise. I remember the first sets of Push ups were perfect and every was loud with the cadence. Around 3 hours in, our voices were hoarse and in muscle failure. But, I can say I was in a movie, even if it was just my right shoe.

Goes back before that. We had bloods, crips, and Gd's running around in my barracks alone. There were drive bys on base and roommates would be at war with each other because they had different colors on.

Since you are the only one who used the word circle up to that point, I wonder why you'd report yourself?

Besides, it would technically be a line jerk. Or PTP (Point To Point) ;)

I could have sworn he said circle jerk. That's what I get for checking my phone at 0530 in the morning.

They had gang members in the military in the early 80's for sure.

Perhaps there is an inner need crying out for attention? Don't hold back, Marvin... self-repression can be ugly!
