How many do I need? From what I read I need one for the DS-260, the Medical, and the interview, but that seems to be a lot.

You only need one, but I have 2, because you never know, you might lose it, I have one in my folder, and one in my back up folder in the safe. They give you back the certificate once medical is done.

I think for CR1 I am going to need two then. I have to send one in with the DS260 then have one for the medical exam. I will get two just in case.

The London medical exam does not need an original police certificate. A photocopy should be sufficient (or just take the original and they'll copy it, I imagine).

Photocopy it before you mail it to NVC. Make one for yourself and one for the medical. You don't need one for the embassy. They will have the file from NVC with all your documents.
