Hello! :)

Does anyone know if I need to do anything if my fiancee has had a change of address? He is in Russia, and is switching apartments. We are still waiting on our NOA2. I can't find any information on what to do if a beneficiary's address changes.

If anyone knows, it would be so helpful. :)

Thanks!

Samantha

^^ Scratch the above where I say I'm waiting on NOA2. Checked USCIS today and they said they sent the NOA2 on Jan 17! Woohoo! :) I'm still wondering about the beneficiary change of address, though.

Also, do you get any kind of notice when the NVC receives your petition? How long does that usually take? :) I'm so happy the petition got approved. I hope we continue to have good news.

Keep calling the NVC until you get the embassy case number. Once the embassy has the petition you can contact them and let them know of the address change. Congrats!!

The NVC will send you a letter about a week after they forward it to Russia with the case number in it. The Russian consulate should just send an email telling you they received the documents and then you do everything online. They shouldn't send anything to the beneficiary in the mail as far as I know, so it doesn't really matter what address they have. When you fill out the forms for the interview, then you can put in the new address.
