Let me see if I understand... Neither you or your husband are citizens of the USA currently? If this is the case There is no sponsor program to come live here in the USA. There are petitions that can be filed for US citizens and LPR to sponsor wife/husband, children, mother, father or siblings... What type of visa are you looking for?

It's impossible. Either you or your husband MUST be a US citizen or a Green Card Holder in order to file a petition for the family to immigrate to the US.

Your uncle or cousin cannot file the petition for you or your husband as they are NOT immediate relatives.

We spoke to a lwayer when we were on vacation in California and he told us that the only way we can get a green card is getting a job, a visa tipe EB-3 http://www.uscis.gov/working-united-states/permanent-workers/employment-based-immigration-third-preference-eb-3 I am getting a degree on Information Techonolgy.

The other posibility we are going to ask about is, if my husband's other uncle who is a US citizen, can ask for her sister (my husband's mother) the she can ask for my husband...

The US citizen uncle can petition for your husband's mother. They are siblings/brother and sister right? It will take 13 YEARS before your mother-in-law can immigrate. Once your mother-in-law becomes a US citizen herself (after being a Green Card Holder for 5 YEARS), that's the time she can file a petition for your husband. It will take 11 YEARS before you, your husband and kids below 21 years old can immigrate.

All-in-all, you will wait 29 YEARS before you can immigrate under the family category.

It will be better to chase for a work visa.

Thanks very mucho for your answer :) I thought it was kind of a lot of years to do the family paperwork... so I'm just going to continue looking for a working visa :D
