no one checks yer SSN card at the airport.

they check:

1. PASSPORT NAME and

2. GREEN CARD NAME.

1 is checked against the air ticket name when leaving USA.

1 and 2 is checked when getting on a plane outside of the USA.

1 and 2 is checked when entering into the USA at a POE.

1 and 2 not match? bring marriage certificate that shows both names.

1 and ticket name not match? need to do extra stuff at the airport to get ticket re-issued in passport name, prior to getting on the airplane.

(sorry, I only realize you are a USC - so you need passport and ticket name to match up, that's it, that's all)
