Most likely. I requested to be expedited and yet they sent an email requesting 'evidence' even though we had already sent our military orders so we just resent it. Still waiting on an answer. And judging by all the posts lately, seems like USCIS are on another level of incompetence now.

Get your husband to call the military hotline to request the expedite (I don't have the number on me sorry). They'll ask him to email or most likely fax his orders, if he doesn't have it yet he could just get a signed letter from his commanding officer. I've seen that also works as well.

Good luck and let me know how it goes

Hes on Global Response Force, which means his group will be the first to deploy if anything happens..with next to no notice (2 hours to get all his stuff together and to base to deploy) when this happens (if it happens). He tried to call today but they were closed by the time he got off but hes calling in his lunch break to request an expedite...do you think a letter from his chief explaining the situation would work? Who is the best person to get a letter from?

Thank you both, very much!

I'm not too sure, I just see on here that people usually get letters from their commanding officer. I don't know if that's the same thing.

He can ask to expedite over the phone but when they email requesting evidence make sure he has the letter ready to send to them, explaining he can be deployed at any moment with no notice etc most likely he'll have to send his military i.d with that as well.
