Maybe do more to address economic inequality would be the best way to ensure that people don't end up in this situation to begin with.

Now that is a different discussion all together worthy of its own thread. As long as there are a lack of good paying middle class jobs there will be economic equality. I don't know, is the simple answer. But as long as no one is willing to see a connection between economic inequalities and the crime rate all we're left with is the childish notion that people are just born evil.

Nice hit and run nonsensical post that added absolutely no value whatsoever to this thread. So what do you suggest that we do with people in this country that are the equivalent to rabid dogs? Do we tell them that killing is bad and make them swear to never kill again before hugging them and releasing them back into society?
