Dear all

I submit I-130 for my wife. I have forgot to submit the marriage ceremony photo or other evidences. However we submit the

marriage certificates and one supporting evidence of marriage certificate. My case has been transferred to NVS. I have not got any

REF from them. (June 2013 filer). Do I need to seed the marriage ceremony pictures or air tickets together, hotel booking for evidence???????

please advice me

I wouldn't stress about it dear. If they need anything from you, they will request it in writing. The process takes quite awhile. Remember to just be patient and continue to communicate with your wife.

No need to worry. USCIS is looking if a couple is legally married. At the interview you will need to bring bona fide evidence with you. It`s not that hard to collect documents that prove a bona fide marriage although it s not a real marriage. Don`t pay any attention to posts where people write that the officer didn`t even give them a chance to present their bona fide documents at the interview. Usually there is more behind this case (e.g. severe criminal record etc....) but that is something that people don`t like to tell. All they say is "officer didn`t give us a chance". In case USCIS really wants something from you (pics etc.) you will most likely get a RFE.

We work with a lawyer and I asked her if she needs any bona fide documents for the USCIS stage and she said NO. Right, you can send some copies of your bona fide documents to the NVC but they won`t look at it at all. They will just forward it with all other papers to the embassy where your interview will take place. We ll get there - at some point - :-/

You don't have to worry too much about it. When your wife goes for her interview, she can take marriage ceremony photos and etc. if she likes with her, but the officer may or may not ask to see them. My husband took our marriage pictures with him on the interview that the officer did a quick look through.

By the way, you mentioned that you didn't send any other evidence, did you send any bonafide evidence to support your case besides the marriage certificate like the copy of your passport stamped you went to BD?

I submitted the passport copy that also showed the date of arrival in bangladesh. Hope it could be an evidence.

What I submitted for our marriage evidences are (1)Marriage certificate and (2)Nikanama.

Best regards

that is sufficient for now. If u hav send other like photos or videos, they would hav returned u by saying we wil ask if needed. These all are needed in nvc not in uscis. Hope u hav send birth certificate and police report aswell of both of u.
