My pd is feb 22 2013.. case was transferred to nbc. Now date is 20 March but no noa2 yet... what to say..I m speech less...

Mine is at NBC in MO as well. I feel like NBC is the big black hole! Petitions get received there but never come out.

what was your RFE about? What you mean by another copy of marriage certificate? What was wrong with the first one?

They said they needed a copy of a marriage certificate that was registered. When obviously in order to get a certified copy it has to be REGISTERED. So I sent another copy with a cover page explaining where to find the information that the certificate was indeed registered.

I'm a little confused. Is this something specific to your situation, or should we all have sent in certified copies of our marriage certificates? I just sent in a color photocopy of ours. Please explain. Got me kind of nervous.

So it's nothing normal and shouldn't be worried about. What does one do in a situation like that? Makes no sense. Dumb.

Hello friends,

I know this is not new, but the way I look at this, this is clearly effecting our families, our future... all because of a "backlog" which isn't our fault. I have seen some of you have been in this forum longer than I have and I hoping if you all wouldn't mind joining me in an another campaign demanding USCIS to process this faster.

Saying that the goal to process is 5 months to processing time but take more than 9 months is unacceptable... Would the government let me take 4+ months to file taxes? 4+ months to pay my bills? 4+ to respond to any government request? Will the DMV give me 4+ to renew my license?

I am attaching a screen shot of the NOA2 received.... they were able to process 1 application??? How long are we going take this? Enough is enough, I paid for this service, just like you all have... we require immediate actions. THERE'S NO REASON FOR DIFFERENT SERVICE CENTERS TO HAVE DIFFERENT PROCESSING TIMES... ESPECIALLY IF IT'S A TRANSFER!!! WE SHOULD NOT BE KEPT AWAY FROM OUR FAMILIES FOR THIS LONG!!!!

I do think we were supposed to send a certified copy, but my RFE was just BS. A tactic to keep my 10+ month processing time out of their statistics. I'm sure you'll be fine.

They're not required. Most people send in photocopies (I did!). I'm convinced that TSC sent her an RFE because it would extend the amount of time they had to process her case while at the same time removing her from the processing date queue so that even if they take another month or two to get to her case, it won't count against them.

It's not like that's a new tactic from them.
