Hi Everyone!

Sorry this is kinda long, I would love for anyone to give me their thoughts and advice, on whether they see any issues with how I am planning everything from K1 to GC.

My medical in Sydney was dated January 3rd and is valid for 6 months. I understand that means I have to enter the US by July 3rd (and then get married within 90 days from then).

Am currently awaiting Packet 4 for interview date.

We are planning on flying into Michigan probably right at the end of June (29th or 30th) and having a civil ceremony within the following week. I can apply for SSN before we wed. Right after the wedding after we receive all the documents, I will file for AOS, EAD and Advance Parole immediately (so assuming this will be in the first week of July). We are staying at my USC sister's house for the duration we are in Michigan.

In August we will be moving to New York, where we are having a bigger ceremony and reception in Sept/Oct.

Hopefully I will receive the EAD/AP combo card around this time.

In December, we are planning a trip to visit my USC fiance (by-then husband) parents in Switzerland, and then straight after that, we are going on a belated honeymoon to Antarctica and Argentina.

So, my questions are:

1. Is it okay to enter the country just a few days before the validity of the medical (and therefore, K1 visa) expires, and to get married after K1 expires.

2. Is it okay to apply for AOS, EAD, AP from Michigan, but then move to New York while it is pending? Will I be expected to attend an interview or something in Michigan?

3. If I apply for AP in July...I should have it by December, right?

4. If my purpose for applying for AP is simply for holiday/travel, is this frowned upon? Will I be denied (do they only allow AP for more important reasons?)

5. Can I use the AP for multiple re-entries (coming back from Switzerland, then coming back from Argentina) or is it only valid for one re-entry?

5. Will the closeness of the two trips raise any alarm bells for them for any reason? Re-entering the country twice within two weeks for example.

Any input is much appreciated in helping me understand the little details on this journey

Thank you so much!

1) Yes.

2) Yes, although only the office with jurisdiction over your current permanent address can approve you.

3) Yes.

4) No, they won't care why you want it.

5) Multiple, as long as on the I-131, Part 7 you select "multiple trips".

5) No,
