Hello everyone

On 1-14-14, I received a transfer notice to CSC for four petitions (wife and 3 kids under six). Petition were filed July 22 2013. On 1-18-14 received the notice of approval. This quick action could be a hopeful sign for the waiting crowds

BTW many thanks for VJ team and interactive members for providing valuable info and advice in correctly completing all sort forms. That worked for me and I am sure for others.

for my family I am filing

I-864 for wife

I-864W for 3 children ( one for each because they have 3 separate petitions)

Based on reviewing messages and the feedback on VJ, I did the following

On I-864, (part 3) my only entry is for question 1 is 'Yes' and I enter 1 for question 7.

part(5) I enter 1 for question 1

1 by default for question 2

3 for question 4

that will be a total of 5 for question 8 (family size)

For I-864W The form is a one page straight forward. part 1, I typed child name and overseas address.

part3, the sponsor name and sponsor signature ( not the child) Is that ok?

I needed a joint sponsor ( my Uncle) who will be submitting I-864 for my wife.

The question is, does he has to provide 3 complete I-864 for my kids? or based on Childe Citizen Act of 2000, affidavit of support will not be required? Yes or no?

My Uncle is retired on a government pension and Social Security. filing taxes jointly with his wife. his income alone is above the poverty level for 7 people. joint taxes requires a I-864A from his wife ( total of 4 ) the catch is the wife is totally disable physically and mentally(Alzheimer) she gets her SS check deposited directly into joint account. He has a Power of Attorney(POA)

He will have to fill in I-864A himself and attach a POA document( recorded at the court house)

will that be an option? this could be the first time this subject being mentioned on VJ.

Many thanks for all for any feedback and advice.
