I was adressing issues that might be "red flags" at the Consulate level, if they go through the K-1 route. They're not too nice in Casa.

They have some interesting cases to deal with, we do not know this is one of them.

what Faycel and Renee said....from all of us who are self appointed family counselors/psychologists.....you seem to be in the middle of a familial situation that is going to require all of your focus....the last thing you need (IMHO) is involvement with a person you have never met in person, not shared any problems with closely, from dissimilar cultures (he is of one that does not put women ahead of most things)....another thing to consider...while you are battling with custody, if you were to rush into a marriage with this person, imagine how that might look to a family court judge, who would be considering your stability as a mother/parent....it could easily work against you....anyway, I guess many of us have stuck our nose into your business quite enough...but most, if not all of us, are quite concerned that this might work out poorly for you....TAKE YOUR TIME....

are you trying to say men from the middle east don't put their wives ahead of most things? If that is what you meant you are sadly mistaken, and you watch too many movies and TV shows. My husband is Muslim(i'm not), he puts me, my children(not his biological children), my family, and his family far before himself and his own needs, and the same goes for 99% of men I know from the Middle East. If that isn't what you meant, my apologies. There are so many misconceptions about Islam and Muslim men in general, I just felt the need to put that one at rest.

And I still go by what I said earlier about the OP being naive, and well. just plain stoopid if she puts her own wants before the well being of her children for some guy she has been chit chatting with for a few weeks, a man who has declared his undying love for her before they have even met.

Ok here goes nothing, my boyfriend went to the embassy where he lives to see if he could a vistors visa to come over here so he could see me but I was told today that they told him he would have no chance in getting one to come over here.

Who told him that? Embassy employees don't just go around saying stuff like that to whomever. Sounds like he wants you to think that a tourist visa is out of the question so maybe you would consider other (more permanent types) visas. Maybe he doesn't know about the "met in person" requirement.

Be careful.

You've all attacked this woman. And it has led to attacking certain cultures and a little more. Bad men exist everywhere, religion or ethnicity doesn't dictate that. Christians, Jews, Muslims, etc will all produce some gems and some fools gold, so stay away from attacking religions.

To the OP, be patient. Bear all of this with patience. See where this relationship takes you by the time your birthday arrives and a little beyond that. I'm sure you'll come to learn more about each other.

In the future, be very weary sharing too much information or some members will eat you for lunch. It's really a great community here, so don't let these responses scare you away. Get your ducks in a row, take your time talking to the brother in Morocco and come here when you feel ready to take those next steps. If you need any precise advice, message any of the members in the Morocco portal and they should be of assistance.

May the Almighty bless you and yours.

Sounds like her prime focus will be the children, she will leave him to do the visiting.

Actually this happened to my husband as well, in Jordan.

Did you even read her story? She is going to risk losing custody of her children to meet a man she has been chatting with for a few weeks. I never attacked a culture or religion, my husband is a Muslim from the middle east. This could be any man from any country, I could care less where he is from, the point is she isn't being very bright. She needs someone to talk some sense into her because no mother in her right mind should EVER risk losing her children over some guy, let alone a virtual stranger.
