Visa Backlog

Landlocked means you may travel outside the USA but you may not come back in, look it up. E2 visa is the only visa with no path to a green card. And yes the bill and laws are ready,they just have to vote on it and pass it. But congress takes forever with it, thats why people say it wont pass. But the republicans did say they will release some principles before January 28 (obamas state of the union address)

The H-1B expansion could move corporations to push the republicans and the extra border money gives them some political cover so it could happen... Especially if the latino groups continue to make progress on the protests and framing this as illegals being victims. Eventually the republicans will either feel enough heat or will want something and a deal can happen.

Or course that means the democrats need to compromise on something and I'm not seeing what that is.. They can just sit there and let the republicans be the bad guys for another election cycle.

Yeah that makes sense, they just need to get rid of the visa backlog
