this is normal.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

That is precisely what the envelope should look like. Don't open it. Just leave it alone. It should only be opened by the USCIS agent upon your arrival in the US.

Good luck!

Our envelope has a rip. It looks like it busted open. My fiance picked up his visa this morning and booked his flight for tomorrow. We're just going to take our chances. It's so nervewracking to be this close!

He should really go to his embassy and ask for a new envelope.

Thanks for the reply - if we had more time that's absolutely what we would have done. He booked the flight before he really inspected the envelope. He said everything came in a Loomis bag which he did not open until later. Mistake on our part for sure.

Luckily he made it through Toronto this morning and will be here at 5 o'clock today! But I wouldn't advise anyone else to take that risk - if you can take it to the embassy to get it resealed then do it for sure!
