they cashed my check.....but no NOA1

I checked my bank account and USCIS has cashed my check for $170 but they havent sent me the NOA1 yet.

I'm sure it is on its way. Sometimes the check is cashed first. If you can access the back of your check yo will find the USCIS case number and now can sign up for status checks online at www.uscis.gov. Good luck on your journey.

All the NOA1 does is provides you the case number. It is also in the endorsement on the back of the canceled check. Third line down WACxxxxxxxxxxx

It took a little while to get the NOA1 for my K3 (I-129) as well. It has to go from Chicago to Missouri. You'll also get notice when it gets transferred from Missouri and then again when it arrives at the service centre.
