Hi all VJ friends. my Friend's Husband got a job offer from K B R(Kellogg Brown & Roots) U.S.A. and as per the job offer letter first he has to approach the immigration attorney(Rose A. Walters) who's address is mentioned in the job offer letter to get Permanent Employment Certification Card on his own cost the company will reimburse later and after getting this card he has to sent it to the company in U.S.A. so that they start visa process.

His employment will effect from 18th March 2014 .

But they are very confused weather this job offer is genuine or fake?secondly how much all will cost to get permanent employment card plus immigration attorney's fees? and how long it will take to get permanent employment card? pls advise.

Best thing will be to call their corporate headquarters helpline. They have a number for employment verification or for contacting a service representation. Make your inquiries there to ascertain the validity of the job.

My husband is familiar with KBR and their hiring procedures saying they would never do this. This is simply a scam.

To check into this your husband should ask exactly what project KBR will put him on, then check the KBR site to see if they are even hiring for that project. Your husband doesn't need anyone to apply at KBR. Just have him use their web site. He will find out exactly how the hiring procedure works.

Presumably this offer came from KBR's Nigerian office?

Scam. You are not allowed to pay for the visa costs.

There are some costs you can pay for, but we digress.
