As much as what you did overstepped the boundaries of the average American family, I also think he is over reacting in a big way. To end the immigration process over this issue is adolescent at best. All couples need time to work out their differences, especially those from different cultural backgrounds.

I am thinking maybe the contents of the letter, how it was written, how it was worded, heck even the spelling, caused larger concern with the sister . Still, IMO, the husband has over-reacted.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

I say if U can seek some martial counseling if he's with that,

if he's USC the child has no prob to visit dad & family.

You may have overstep your bounds & his family will be on his side,

I cant say its over-reacting or not as the content of the letter could

have P..d off his family and him, then they warned him about U, more

mess down the road...simply could be he fell out of love but used this

as a get-away from her card, he's probably withdrew his I864...if

not Y would U force to come to the US?...his family may not be welcoming,

U may find a new person in his life...sort it out, the child will always see

dad if U R accommodating thoughtout his growing up.
