Hi my name it Lisa I came across this site while looking for some information I want to make sure everything me and my boyfriend well future husband does is on the up and up. I live in the USA. Here is my story while logging in onto a dating site or 3d imvu I met my boyfriend a few months ago. We have done a lot of talking on different things movies to music. We make it a habit to talk to each other everyday for 1 to 3 hours aday. He introduced his family by way of skype and he has talked to a couple of my family members. I know one of the requirements is to have met face to face during the relationship. He is planning on seeing if he can get a tourist visa to come over and met in person. for a few weeks to month depending on how long i want him over here. My question is while he is over here on his visit and we actually do get along better than what we thought can I petition for the k1 while he is here and then have him finish it in his home country. Im new this whole thing have never dated or been engaged to foreign man before.

What is his country? As many countries are harder to deal with than others. IF, he can get a visa to come here, then he is lucky, but he must not be traveling here to stay, or marry, and Adjust Status (stay here, after marrying you) as that would be.,.,..,maybe fraudlent. I f you are just starting this procedure, it is documentation, documentation, pictures, boardinng passes, hotel receipts, food receipts, intent to marry letters, hand written and dated and signed, find the K-1 visa forum on this site, and it will tell you exactly. E mails, skype logs, and the pictures must be dated, and who is in them.

You must have met and spent time together in the past two years, to file K-1 visa. I would plan on visiting him, as a visa to come here is not easy, if you want this to work.

I hope some of the experts on this site comment on your post, but you need to read this site every day, to learn how to use it. At least this gives you something to think about.,..,.,.,.

He lives in Morocco i guess he had talked to his father and his father mentioned to him about a friends daugther being able to get an american tourist visa so I told him to try if he can. If not we will cross that bridge when we get to it. Unfortunately I am in the middle a custody battle against my father and step mother that sort of prevent me for from going across state lines let alone the country, I have manipulative parents that would taking my rights in a minute and would swear that i abandoned my kids this is the only we know of so far. But Like I told him we are going to take it one step at a time, Do everything right by the law that way no one can say that out marriage is a sham. Because we both want to be together forever. I will start his paper work in march if i can.

Sounds like you are in a hard situation right now. I don't think it is going to be that easy for him to get a tourist visa, but hey it never hurts to try. Best of luck to you either way.
