Hi,

I've got my interview on tuesday and just read the checklist I got with my interview letter.

The letter says "each applicant age 16 or older, must present a police certificate if obtainable from their country of residence and country of nationality".

Now I'm panicking a bit!! I'm originally Polish, but have lived in England since the age of 16, although technically I am stil a Polish citizen.

I was going by what the Us embassy website says for London, and it only mentions obtaining police certificates from the countries you lived in since the age of 16, and doesnt mention getting one from the country of nationality!

I culndt get one from Poland now and have it for tuesday anyway:( do you think I will get asked for it?

thanks, xxx

You only need police certificates from countries you lived over 12 months over the age of 16 so you wont be asked for polish certificate.

It is not where I breathe but where I love that I live.
