Hi everyone,

My fiance and I are in the very beginning stages of applying for a K1 visa. He is a Swedish citizen and we are little overwhelmed by the whole process. Is there anyone out there who has experience with the Swedish consulate? We are mostly nervous about being denied due to finances since I am still a student (graduating in May) and will be searching for a job; we would get a co-sponsor.

Any help, advice, or encouragement is welcome!

Det är absolut ingen fara. Min fästmö är fortfarande i medical school, allt ni behöver är en co-sponsor.

My first tip: Be very thorough with the I-129 package and everything will be faster at the USCIS. However, it seems that the process USCIS to NVC is the big hiccup. Besides that, it should be a smooth ride as long as everything is in order.

I wish you good luck with the process.
