Hello
If i get my visa ( 1 yr and 10 months after wedding anniversary ) will i get CR-1 Visa ?
If i enter USA 3 months after getting my visa(CR-1) ! Can i change type of my Visa From CR-1 to IR-1 ?
If yes What should i do ?
Do i have to specify in border !
Mean if i get CR-1 visa ! and enter to USA 2 years after wedding anniversary can i get permanent resident without conditional (10 yrs GC).

It's dependent on the date you enter the US, not by the type of visa you have. If you have a CR-1 but enter on or after your second marriage anniversary then make sure you remind the CBP officer at secondary of that fact, to ensure you receive a ten year green card.

if your married less then 2 years you get 3 years green card CR-1-----if your married over 2 years then you get 10 year green card---1R-1.

meaning I get what I get based on age of union irrespective of when I get into the USA?

the cbp goons are not so intuitive,

you, the immigrant,

have to remind the cbp goon to change your designation

from CR-1 to IR-1.

If they are confused, ask for the supervisor, remind supervisor to review the date of marriage

and

be prepared to wait in secondary a bit.

you may get CR-1 designation at IV Interview,

and can change it to IR-1 IF 2 years have transpired since marriage date, at the day of the POE event.

It's a good idea to have a copy (or original) of the marriage certificate when you do enter so that you can prove the marriage date and the fact that you should receive an IR1 designation.

i kinda like your guts just surprised you would still have energy for lenghty after a long haul flight

look, if one to three extra hours

at the POE

in secondary

waiting for the shift supervisor to actually review stuff

and get the IR-1 designation

is not the thing you want to do,

then

you have more work to do, 2 years later.

IMO, shifting to IR-1 at the POE is useful. I do agree, coming off a 15 hour international flight, all groggy, sleep-deprived, smelly with dried drool on yer face, doesn't make for a perky camper.

However, suggest you write a note about getting IR-1 designation, put it INSIDE the passport, so the beneficiary can remember to handle this at the POE.
