I need advice on my cover letter for my I130 petition. The reason I'm asking for advice is because I got married two months after my divorce was final. Please also note:

  1. I got my citizenship through marriage to USC
  2. My marriage lasted just over 5 years.
  3. I have ton of evidence that my first marriage was bona fide.

Please let me know what do you think of the cover letter? Do I need to add anything or give more details? Thanks and here is the cover letter.

A cover letter is just that, a cover letter. There is no need to tell why you other marriage failed, or how you met your new wife. You were married to your first wife long enough for it to not be a problem. My cover letter only listed the things in the packet. I was divorced and remarried to my now husband 2 months after my divorce was final and the CO didn't ask one single question about it(I was at the interview). You are worrying about nothing. Good luck.

Thanks. I totally agree with you but I just thought giving this information might help a little this way the CO won't think I dumped my first wife to marry another woman from my home country...
