Later in the day, I spent part of the afternoon with a pair of Black grand parents who were watching their grandDaughter. I can honestly say, I have NEVER seen a pair of Grandparents dote on a child with attention and love and leaning lessons than I have those two.

When I got ready to leave the little girl came over to me and gave me a big hug without reservation.

She had a unique name for a Black girl but I can't recall what it was, something like "Nebraska".... or something.

Beautiful family.

I noticed he left off the hash brown potatoes since our bill was about 4 dollars short. I asked him about it, he said don't worry about it. I didn't, but made sure to leave a tip equivalent to what I would have paid had he left it on there.

It's your choice, but if it were me, I'd remember that young lady's name and the next time I went there, I'd thank her.
