Is it possible that the NVC has shipped our application but not changed the status? I ask as it's been over 8 days since we was given our case number and since then case status has not changed. On phone 1 person said it's been put in transit then another said it's still at NVC. are they just reading off same screen as me?

sure its possible.

as ceac is wonky.

for resolution, call into the DoS Hotline, and ask for casefile status.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I had the same status 'in transit' when my petition headed to NVC. I asked phone representative about what is that status mean and he said that mean you will get your case number in few days.

It just confuses me that on Wednesday I called DOS and man on phone took all details correct and then after a few mins said 'it's in transit sir....it's on way to consulate' then when I call on Thursday to confirm that the lady on phone says 'it's at NVC' like she was just reading what I could already see on my screen. Didn't bother calling them Friday, Another London filer on here also had there case put in transit on Wednesday hence why we both thought they must be in same batch or something.

eh - if DoS is seeing wonky information,

I pray a Data God steps in and fixes that shyte, nowish.

There are so many disconnects in this journey from bad data and improperly programmed data systems, it's going to suck if the data store that DoS uses, which is considered GOSPEL, is 'off' as well.
