I-485 NBC Processing Time???

Checked our case online and it´s still at NBC. I went to check their processing times for the I-485 and it´s not listed. Does anyone have any idea where they are at as far as processing AOS applications?

All this time I thought our case was at our field office, but now I look back on it and we never got a transfer notice, which is a bummer because I´m pretty sure our field office (Orlando) is getting really close to the July applications. Our Noa date was July 1st.

The NBC seems to be all over the place with their processing times - I have seen people from September get their approvals as well as that I have seen people from November 2012 still waiting.

If you are picked as a potential interview waiver case (which usually stays at the NBC until it gets approved), you should receive a notice in the mail at some point.

I do hope it´s soon. I just checked the processing times for our field office and it seems that they were working on Applications from the end of June in Novemeber. So they´ve probably past July now. Had our case been in Orlando I´m sure there´d be some movement. I wondering if because we got an RFE in August that pushed our application aside and now we have to wait longer. Is that possible?

I am wondering the same thing. When you are interview waived, do you stay at NBC or do you get transferred to the local office as well? I know people with NOA1 after me who have already been approved without interview... i am july 30 and still waiting. The only posted processing times for AOS are on the local office pages.

I am tired of waiting and seeing no logic in the approval. It would be great to know what's going on....

Usually the potential interview waiver cases stay at the NBC, but I have heard of a few (very few) that got transferred to a local office and then either 1) got an interview after all, or 2) got approved without an interview at the local office. Even if your case is at the NBC, for some weird reason USCIS goes by your local office's processing times, so if your local office is beyond your NOA date, you can put in a service request.

I know how frustrating the wait is. I waited eight months, and it sure was frustrating to see people who had filed weeks and months after me getting approved before me. Even right now there are still members from November and December 2012 on here who are still waiting for their approvals. It is not fair, but that's USCIS for you... Just keep your head up high and don't let this whole process consume you.

Thank you for the info HK12. I also thought my application was still at NBC.

However i remember when i had an issue with my biometrics in august (was forced to reschedule on the day of the appointment because i went to the ASC without my marriage certificate and my name on the notice wasn't the same as the name on my passport) i was being impatient of not receiving my new ASC appointment letter and put a service request online for AOS and EAD (that ended up being cancelled because i actually received my new appointment letter in the mail the next day), the receipt number of my AOS service request started by CHI ( like chicago my local office) while the one for the EAD was MSC (which i guess refers to NBC). So for some reason i was thinking that i had been transferred to my local office and at the time i was hoping i would get an interview.... but nothing except for the interview waiver letter in november that was coming from NBC.

My local office one of the slowest as it is showing a processing date of May 11,13. They were moving a month at a time except for the last update they went from may 2nd to may 11th (9 days in a month!, shameful) while some offices are already showing end of june/beggining of july dates. I expect the worse for the coming months because of the holidays , bank holidays and the days they were closed because of the arctic cold i am sure they didn't move that much either in december and january...

Yes, thank you HK12! I don´t mind waiting longer as long as I can be assured everything is fine. Our RFE was something trivial anyway. my joint sponsor didn´t send proof of citizenship but we got that to them within 2 weeks of the RFE. I´ll give it another month and if it goes past our NOA I´ll do the service request.
