A single parent family is the result of a collection of circumstances. In other words, poverty is the result of those circumstances, not the cause.

You don't need an article to understand that.

This post unambiguously states that single unwed mothers are the cause of poverty in the USA. That is not the case. However, it is correct to say that being from a single parent family increases a person's likelihood of experiencing poverty.

Similarly, there is evidence that being black makes a person statistically more likely to experience poverty. However you wouldn't say that blacks are the cause of poverty, would you.

i don't know how many times i've asked for a further explanation toward the root of their arguments concerning welfare, women, and gang/gun violence and i never get a straight up answer. technically speaking, anytime i converse with one of these dudes i'm baiting, trying to get to the gut of their fluff.. not my fault they can't come right out and say what they mean.

You know, just like I do, what it is. It's the reason why certain members have to write paragraphs of whimsical poppycock to conceal(not really, cause anyone with 1/8th of a brain can see right through it) their utter disdain for black people, gay people, muslims, any anyone that's not on the right, and women.

It's the reason why some members have the most ignorant hate speech in their sig blocks and yet no one see it.

It's the reason why some members are real quiet when a shooting rampage goes down the the perp is white, yet when they're black, they have no issues saying they would blow them away if one just walked up and said hello.

It's the reason black people have to come up in subjects like solar panels and picnics.

It's the reason why a teenager whose list of crimes(weed, a few fights, graffiti, and some stolen jewelry) is considered more dangerous than Adam Lanza, James Homes, and Aaron Alexis. Yet the guy who shot him, who has several run ins with the law(domestic violence 3 times that we know of, resisting arrest, assaulting a police officer, etc) is considered a model citizen.
