Hi guys,

we just got marrried last Jan. 1, 2014, and i came here in the using a K1 visa. Now we are starting to complete of all the requirements for my AOS. one of the requirements is the vaccination supplement. which when i had my medical examination in Doha, Qatar. i just did my xray and some lab test and didnt gave me any copy of it.

Can anyone recommend a good (and by "good" I actually mean "cheap") civil surgeon in San Diego? So if anyone knows of the cheapest one on the list (I already checked the list on USCIS website, and there are about 30 names), I would really appreciate it.

Hi, you have to go to this site and find a civil surgeon designated to your area https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=offices.type&OfficeLocator.office_type=CIV You can call whoever is closer to you and ask their fees. We had 3 options and ended up going to the one who gave us the cheapest fees, paid around 100 dollars total, good luck

hello!!

i already did that. i called 3 clinics near here in my place, but the total package will be around $300+, that includes physical and all the immunization. very expensive! all i need is the immunization and some dr. who can sign the form ( I-131 Form) for me for my AOS requirements. so i already do my physical examination/ medical exam from where i came from and they directly send it to the US embassy. but i didnt gave me any copy of it.

If you search here on the forum for 'civil surgeon San Diego', you will get quite a few results. This was just one I found rather quickly > http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/466610-any-civil-surgeons-in-san-diego-area-that-dont-rip-you-off/

There is also the long standing thread of civil surgeons here > http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/231026-civil-surgeons-who-dont-rip-you-off/

~ Moved from K-1 Process to AOS from Family Based Visas - topic is AOS, not K-1 ~

I know, I was in a similar situation. The doctor's assistant gave me a total of $458 in all the things I "needed" but, I had my vaccination records from my home country and luckily the nurse spoke Spanish so she was able to translate it. All I ended up needing was a flu shot, got at Walgreens for $30. Finally, they did the TB skin test and got the form 5 days later in a sealed envelope for USCIS and a copy for me to keep. They'll tell you a lot over the phone, try making an appointment and talk to the doctor explaining what you need.
