Form DS-160

1. When completing our DS-160, my fiance did not understand the question regarding telecodes, so, she left it blank (does not apply). She simply did not understand the question. Will this cause her application to be denied or can this be resolved at interview, since the application has been completed and confirmation letter has been mailed to the embassy with packet 3?

2. After completing the DS-160, my fiance realized she did not include the National ID number, however, this number is listed on every translated document she submitted prior to receiving packet 3. Will the missing national ID number from the form DS-160 result in her application being denied? or should she create an entire new application.

I understand there is a way on their web page to correct mistakes after you file. I don't know how it works, never having done it, but it can be done.
