Hello VJ Folks,

I called customer service on Nov 17, 2006 to change my address on all petitions and they sent me letters on Nov 30, 2006 stating that they have changed my mailing address to the new one for all of my petitions. However, I am still receiving USCIS mails at the old address. So far all new mail has been forwarded to my new address by USPS but I am worried about missing some mail.

USCIS approved my AP on Dec 20 and I haven't received that approval notice yet. What should I do now to make sure that USCIS has the my correct mailing address. Do I need to make an Infopass? Calling customer service again does not help? Does anybody know whether USCIS requests forwarding service for all the mails that it sends?

Any input will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Akashdeep

Completing the AR11 form does not update pending applications.... since you have called the 0800 line you now need to make an infopass appointment at your local office take along a copy of the AR11 form you sent when you moved and ask them to update the system for all your pending cases..... if you have also changed local offices then send a copy of the AR11 and a letter asking them to forward any paperwork to your new local office..

Make sure your name is on your mailbox and make sure your mailman knows you live at your address...

Good Luck

Kez

Post office will not forward anything from USCIS the PO will return all mail as undeliverable.

Moving while anything is in progress is bad with regards to USCIS, they have big problems with address changes.

Example of the nightmare this causes.
