Question: Do i need to include my CEMAR when i submit my IV documents to NVC? Or should i just bring it during the interview? I have read from some VJ members' posts that they were asked for their CEMAR so im wondering when should i submit mine.

Hope those who were done with nvc or interview can enlighten me. Thanks guys! :)

11.18.2013 - requested expedite due to typhoon

12.02.2013 - CFO seminar

12.12.2013 - I-130 approved, NOA2 via email (never transferred); shipped to NVC

01.08.2014 - Case # and IIN; submitted DS-261; NVC asked for 2 contact #s of beneficiary

01.09.2014 - AOS fee billed

01.14.2014 - AOS fee showed paid

01.18.2014 - sent AOS package

01.22.2014 - IV fee showed paid; AOS arrived at NVC as per UPS (10:18am by FNU)

Not sure why the US govt cares about the Cenomar?

"Marriage Index Documents

Available. The NSO issues Certificates of No Marriage (CENOMAR) certifying that an applicant was never married. Certificates of Marriage (CEMAR) provide a chronological listing of all applicant's marriages."

My Wife is from Cebu also, she received here CENOMAR this week from the NSO. but I think she also has the same issues as you do with her NBI clearance her's will expire in mid Feb..so we are also trying to get a new updated copy for her DS-261 packet. She has seen on the local news about the many problems at the N.B.I office through out the Philippines's. She is going back down town this coming week to see if she can get one, but it doesn't look promising for her from what we have read, have you any updated news regarding this and you experience in Cebu..

So, did they ask for your CEMAR? My husband and I got married in the US and have a US marriage certificate. We reported our marriage to the Phil Embassy there. Would we still need a CEMAR?

does your wife cenomar shows that shes married with you? as before you get married it is also one of the requirements to show that a woman is single from the cenomar...
