Hello,

My fiance has her K1/k2 visa interview March 11th. I hear so many other couples say as examples of proof that they do intend to marry once the fiance is in the petitioners country they provide a reciept of a planned reception, church wedding, guest invitation list..... Due to my being married a few times in the past we plan to be married at the local courthouse by the probate judge. So my question to those on this forum is do you have any ideas on what she could say or present at the interview to support the fact that we do intend to marry?

The American CO asked me about our wedding plans. I told her that we're not gonna do anything big, just a courthouse wedding because we'd rather spend our money on our honeymoon. then she asked where we wanna go and I answered Las Vegas. She didn't even ask for engagement ring receipt and letter of intent.

We were not asked or the Letters of Intent, my wife still has them somewhere I have not read of anyone actually being asked for the LOI in quite some time, but the instructions letter does ask for the evidence... on well.

Do like the others say..... reuse the ltr used for your I129 that all that is needed. I find that most of us way over think this process. KISS keep it simple son. We were never asked for the letter at the interview.
