Debate is not the automatic naysaying of anything your opponent says, rather debate is a series of cogent arguments that prove or disprove a proposition.

Anytime I take the time to research anything, my source is immediately discredited, my post is ignored, the other person leaves, or shifts to other claims I have to research for them. So now its just easier to not look anything up and go after outlandish generalizations or post dancing cats.
