Mailed my application in and it was delivered yesterday! Waiting to see what happens next, hope I filed eveything right! Fingers crossed and good luck to everybody else!!!!

Welcome alejate and good luck. Our case is pretty much a nobrainer, so instead of using a lawyer we used a non-profit to help with the paperwork. It took them four days to mail the application and we were not able to see the package before they sent it off. I tried to get them to let me send it overnight, but they had already mailed it when I asked. I was hoping they would include more evidence of a Bonafide Marriage, but they said we didnt need it (although Phoenix may be different than other offices). We will bring plenty to our interview. I am assuming they didn't send in the form for electronic notifiation because we haven't recieved an email or text yet (they said it was mailed on 1/21).

I will keep everyone posted!

I just received my biometrics appointment letter in the mail. It's scheduled for 02/11/2014. I might do an early walk-in because the date might not be convenient for me. I will keep everyone posted on what happen

Hey guys I got a confusion here... so my spouse already mailed out the I-130 and we know it's being processed at the Texas Service Center. I'm getting set to send out my portion of the AOS forms, now the confusion is should I mail the packet directly to TSC handling the I-30 or do I send it to the regular Chicago Lockbox which then routes it to the appropriate service center?? Secondly for the I-765, it requires a copy of the passport but I have two passports. The cancelled one bears all my expired visas and the current valid one linked to my I-94 whereas the other passport is brand new as I never used it for anything yet (got it in December) - my question is do I attach only the copy of the canceled passport that holds my visa/I-94 or do I include copies of both the canceled and new passport. I'm just tryna avoid any complication cos the canceled one has a bold "CANCELLED blah blah blah" notation on it... I'll appreciate any response, thank you!

I filed the same way,separately.And I filed each form to the Chicago Lockbox.

If I remember correctly they inquire only copy of visa that you entered states with,as a proof that you entered legally.I had 4 visas,but I made only copy of the last one I used.

I made copy of only visa from old passport and copy of new passport(cover page and picture page) for the same reason you mentioned above.I didn't want to send any unnecessary documents that might lead to confusion and delay.As you can see in my timeline,everything is smooth so far.

When you send your I-485 packet to Chicago make sure you include a copy of your NOA for the I-130, that way USCIS can bring the two together and convert it to a concurrent filing. Edited February 1, 2014 by jerni
