Got notification for travel documents too. Got 6 text messages after the intitial one for EAD card already, and still counting, but when I log in to check it's still just saying card production. I wonder why. Anybody else had the same experience?

I got about 3 same messages Monday about EAD card production, so I guess it's common

Are there any January filers who'll be having their interview in the Chicago office? Have you been scheduled for an interview? I know it's a fairly busy office, I'm trying to figure out when my interview might be scheduled.

I was moved to T&I on February 18th, received my EAD/AP combo card a week ago.

Got an email this morning that my interview has scheduled on May 9. (I sent out my application on Feb. 3rd.)

However, I will be out of town that day so I am thinking about requesting for rescheduling.

I have read other people's posts regarding their horrible stories of case closed, request not processed, or etc.

Has anyone rescheduled their interview recently? I am aware that a lot of it is up to their local officer, unfortunately..

I also found an interesting post about rescheduling interview by email. Has anyone done or heard this before?

My wife was away so I had to reschedule my interview just recently.Below is my rescheduling timeline:

02/12 - received an email- Interview scheduled on 03/19

02/14 - called 800# - I requested rescheduling, they gave me confirmation # and told me I will receive letter by end of February

03/04 - still no letter,so I called again and they made another request and I was told to be prepared to go in by myself on actual date in case I don't receive the letter. No confirmation # this time

03/08 - received letter from local office in regards to second call I made, the letter says there is no available date at the moment and I will be notified when new interview date becomes available

03/19 - actual interview date.I decided to go in to make sure my interview has been rescheduled. The lady at the counter desk where you check in for an interview said I was told wrongly, that I had to come to the local office and write an letter stating that I'm not able to attend the interview. No one even mentioned anything about going in with the letter in any of my previously made calls to the Customer Service. So I wrote an letter and she told me I'll get "something" in the mail.Later that day I finally received response letter on my FIRST call I made on 02/14(little too late)

After that nothing came in yet.

I hope this is helpful to you.

God luck!

We had our interview today in Phoenix and were approved on the spot. We got there at about a half hour before the appointment and were called in about 10 minutes after our appointment time. Without exception, from the guards, to the receptionist, to the front gate people, everyone was very gracious and kind. The adjudicating officer was also very kind and personable, but thorough. It seemed as if our demeanor and how we interacted with each other was observed prior to the interview.

As a same-sex couple, we were a bit spooked prior to the interview, but now realize we had nothing to worry about. Thanks to everyone for your support and look forward to seeing you in 21 months.!!!!

The san Bernardino office is where I expect to be scheduled as well.I had my citizenship interview there 6 months ago(im filing for my wife) although it was a much

faster process.as of today I have recieved nothing.I looked on track it and the closest application that resembles ours was a guy who filed in October and didn't get his entries am until April.which is a 6 month period.good luck in your process and I Will surely put any updates I might get up on the board.
