my status just changed for the EAD card production! no tracking number so far tho.

What does that means for my green card interview? Also i already have a SSN, do i need to do anything, beside going to SS office when i get GC and make sure they change it so i am a resident, or will they do it automatically?

Hi, the status of your EAD will not effect your GC interview, if you get it before your interview you have to take it with you & they will most likely take it back lol. As for your SSN you will have to go back to the SS office with your GC to get the SSN card changed & the system updated.

If you are approved on the day apparently they will ask for the EAD back if you have had it, you should then get your green card through in post in no time. Edited by blk

Got notification for travel documents too. Got 6 text messages after the intitial one for EAD card already, and still counting, but when I log in to check it's still just saying card production. I wonder why. Anybody else had the same experience?
