Actually I am a little surprised to see most of you guys did a second day walk in biometric appointment---- Only one day after the NOA arrived. Might be the location where I filed is El Paso, (much longer waiting line.....). Let's waiting for the EAD and the interview, good luck :)

Your timeline is identical to ours, except we did an early Bio-metrics walk in. It will be interesting to see when we get our EAD cards approved to see if there is any value to doing an early Bio-metrics walk-in. This could be useful information to future members.

Congrats!

I see you filed the I-130 and I-485 separately so the address change you saw in your timeline was likely related to that as an I-130 filed on its own is usually used to petition for an IR1/CR1 visa for your spouse that is outside the US so hopefully they have everything lined up and being processed together unlike couple of recent cases.

Thanks MaleAlpha.

I am relatively relaxed actually. I think I am prepared, I sorted all the evidence and stuff. We have a bonafide marriage and thus I am not that afraid of the interview, which is good I guess. I hope it goes well, but if the fast progression of my case is any indicator of the proper evidence, then we should be good.

:) I'll report back of course!

So, here's my experience in San Francisco for the interview:

We arrived a solid hour ahead of our appointment and just waited for things to move. After around 45 minutes we were greeted and escorted by a friendly officer.

After doing the oath, we just talked about very few basics, like I was to say the full name of my husband and his birthday and he did have to do the same. We were asked about when and how we met. After that he went through the whole casefile I sent to Chicago two months ago. We asked me the questions on the I-485 form and just basic biographical information.

After that he asked if we had any more evidence to add to the file, which we provided some.

He told us that he deems our marriage real but he'd have to do a final background check before he could approve me. When I got home I checked the website and it says "Card in Production" so I guess I am good for now. :)

This was pretty relaxed and easy. He was a very nice officer to begin with, so I can't tell any horror stories.
