Yeah it changes sometimes and this is based on an analysis of historical data (other peoples timeline data and their dates of adjudications), it then recalculates itself to fit in with the new average. I have noticed that the actual adjudications are usually about +/- 5 days of the estimated time, so it's a good indicator. Good luck

Thanks MaleAlpha. I understand their estimates are pretty close. I guess we are going to have to file and extension for our taxes because at those time frames the SS# will not come in time. I hear its not a big deal to file an income tax extenstion if you send them the money you are going to owe with the request for an extension.

I believe if you need the SS# to file taxes, SSA can issue you a TIN to use for filing your taxes. Or you could still pursue the route of extending your filing time like you indicated. I pray we all get adjudications on our cases pretty soon. god bless us all

I hear that. We live within 100 miles of the Border and surrounded by Border Patrol Checkpoints. When I called them, they said that we would likely get hasseled, but not deported, without an AP or EAD approval.

It's great to know that people's EADs are being approved/produced now!

I posted earlier that I got an RFE for my I-485. It says online that no further processing will be done until I send them the things that they have asked for. Does anyone know if the same applies for my other cases as well i.e. I-130 and I-765?

I think they have started adjudicating the EAD/APs of January filers. I saw a couple of EAD approvals for some early January filers on another forum (mostly in the 1-6 January range) so it looks like by from next week to next 2 weeks (between 10 - 21 January) we should start seeing adjudications on our EADs.

Hi everybody, I am also a January AOS filer but new to this forum. Now I am at the stage of TESTING AND INTERVIEW. Does anyone know whether USCIS is gonna send me another email/txt regarding to the date and the location of the interview? If so how long does it typically take from interview scheduling to scheduled? Big thanks

It varies dependent upon location but is typically within a month and yes they will send you another notice with the date.

Your timeline is identical to ours, except we did an early Bio-metrics walk in. It will be interesting to see when we get our EAD cards approved to see if there is any value to doing an early Bio-metrics walk-in. This could be useful information to future members.
